Very soon I will be visiting a shop that is going to be making a set of LS headers to fit the stock front clip of the 62-67 Nova. These headers will work with the stock steering linkage and our popular rack and pinion conversion. I will be doing a shop tour on 1-22-10 (tomorrow as of this post).

If you are interested in a set of high quality Stainless LS headers for your stock nova clip I will be doing a “Group Buy”.  After the initial buy in the price will then go up to full retail. At this time I do not know what the price will be, before and after. The before price will be dictated by the number of orders. I will post here after tomorrow’s tour and price discussion.

Work on the headers is under way. One thing to mention is that the headers will not work with the stock steering and stock steering box. They will be 1-3/4 with 3″ collectors. If you have our rack system they will be an excellent addition to your LS swap. It is possible that they will also fit with some of the aftermarket front ends as well.

Here are some “in Process” photos of what the actual headers will look like. I will be returning to Stainless Works on Tuesday 3-2-10 to view an actual “production” set bolted to the car. From that point they will begin the production process and fill all of the orders that were purchased for the “Group Buy”. All headers will also come with the proper engine mount plate that is required to set the engine in the correct place to work with the new CBR headers built by Stainless Works.
